Terms of Service
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 360 Events at 360events.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
2. Description of Service
360 Events is an event management platform for schools, churches, youth groups, and community organizers. We provide tools for event creation, RSVPs, ticketing, guest check-in, and communications including WhatsApp integration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, school, company, church, club, or other organization authorized to use the platform on your behalf. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and have authority to accept these Terms.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of the devices, browsers, email accounts, phone numbers, and networks used to access your account. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your login details, devices, or access to your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent activities
- Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Scrape, spam, or overload our infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute our services without permission
- Use the platform in violation of sanctions, export controls, or anti-corruption laws
6. Event Organizer Responsibilities
If you create events on our platform, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of event information, compliance with local laws, handling of attendee data, and fulfillment of tickets or registrations sold through the platform.
You are also responsible for planning and running your event safely and lawfully, including venue bookings, crowd control, age restrictions, security, accessibility, health and safety requirements, permits, insurance, tax obligations, vendor agreements, staff conduct, attendee communications, and any rules required by your school, company, church, venue, municipality, or other authority.
360 Events provides software tools only. We do not organize, host, supervise, sponsor, insure, endorse, or control events created by users unless we expressly agree to do so in writing.
7. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payments
Ticketing fees are disclosed at the time of event creation. We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice. Founders and waitlist members may receive promotional rates as communicated separately.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law, where we expressly state otherwise, or where we approve a refund in writing. If you cancel a paid subscription, your access may continue until the end of the then-current billing period unless stated otherwise.
Event organizers are responsible for setting ticket prices, describing what attendees receive, handling event cancellations or postponements, and communicating refund rules clearly before tickets are sold. Unless we state otherwise, 360 Events is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks, failed events, attendee dissatisfaction, venue issues, vendor disputes, or organizer mistakes.
Payment providers, banks, card networks, and mobile payment services may apply their own rules, fees, holds, reversals, fraud checks, and settlement delays. You agree to cooperate with any reasonable request for information needed to investigate fraud, abuse, disputes, chargebacks, or suspected fee avoidance.
8. Payment System Use
If you use 360 Events to create, promote, plan, manage, RSVP, ticket, or communicate about a paid event, all ticket and registration payments for that event must be processed through the payment system made available or approved by 360 Events, unless we give you written permission to use another method.
You may not use 360 Events to collect attendee interest, registrations, RSVPs, ticket reservations, guest lists, check-ins, or event communications and then direct attendees to pay separately by cash, EFT, bank transfer, card machine, another ticketing provider, or any other payment method for the purpose of avoiding 360 Events fees.
This includes payments made before the event, during the event, at the entrance, at a ticket desk, or through any separate payment flow connected to the event. You may not display or use external payment QR codes, Zapper, SnapScan, card readers, card machines, bank account details, EFT references, payment links, cash collection points, or third-party ticketing links for paid tickets, registrations, upgrades, add-ons, or entry passes for an event managed through 360 Events unless we have approved that arrangement in writing.
If you sell additional tickets at the door for an event that is listed, promoted, RSVP'd, ticketed, checked in, or otherwise managed through 360 Events, those door sales must also be recorded and processed through 360 Events or another payment method we approve in writing. You may not use 360 Events for online ticketing or guest management while routing walk-in, late, overflow, or same-day sales through a separate provider or merchant account to avoid platform fees.
If we reasonably believe a paid event is using 360 Events while bypassing our payment system, we may require records of ticket sales and attendance, invoice unpaid platform fees, pause payouts, remove payment or check-in features, suspend the event or account, or take other steps available under these Terms and applicable law.
Free events that do not charge attendees may use the platform without payment processing. For paid events, attempted fee avoidance may result in account suspension, event removal, invoices for unpaid platform fees, loss of access to the service, or other remedies available under these Terms and applicable law.
9. Waitlist and Beta Access
Joining our waitlist does not guarantee access. We may invite users in any order at our discretion. Beta features may change, be limited, or discontinued without notice.
10. Intellectual Property
The 360 Events name, logo, website design, and platform code are our property. You retain ownership of content you upload (event details, images, etc.) and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the service.
You may only upload or use content, logos, images, music, videos, trademarks, or other materials that you own or have permission to use. If you believe content on the platform infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us with enough information to identify the content and your rights. We may remove allegedly infringing content while we investigate.
11. Platform Guidance and Beta Features
Any templates, checklists, budget tools, planning suggestions, analytics, AI-assisted outputs, or example content provided by 360 Events are for convenience only. They are not legal, financial, safety, tax, insurance, professional, or event-management advice. You must review and adapt all platform outputs for your own event, location, audience, budget, and legal obligations.
Beta, experimental, AI-assisted, or pre-launch features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, changed, limited, or removed at any time. You should not rely on the platform as your only record of an event, guest list, payment, ticket, contract, or safety plan.
12. Third-Party Services
The platform may connect to or rely on third-party services such as payment processors, authentication providers, hosting providers, email or messaging services, WhatsApp, analytics tools, maps, QR scanning, and vendor services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, delays, pricing, policies, mistakes, data handling, rejected payments, message delivery failures, or account restrictions.
13. Service Availability and Maintenance
We may suspend, limit, or interrupt the platform temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, security, legal, payment, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons. We will try to reduce disruption where practical, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
14. No Event Liability
You agree that 360 Events is not liable for injuries, property damage, lost items, cancellations, postponements, overselling, denied entry, attendee behaviour, staff or volunteer conduct, vendor failure, weather, load shedding, network failure, venue closure, public authority decisions, or any other issue arising from the planning, promotion, operation, or attendance of an event created by a user.
15. Force Majeure
360 Events will not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, government actions, court orders, cyberattacks, power failures, load shedding, internet outages, payment network failures, hosting outages, messaging failures, or failures of third-party providers.
16. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify and hold 360 Events, its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers harmless from claims, losses, costs, damages, penalties, chargebacks, legal fees, and expenses arising from your event, your content, your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, your payment or refund decisions, your attendees, your vendors, or your attempt to avoid platform fees.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially during beta and pre-launch phases.
We do not guarantee that the platform will meet your requirements, increase attendance, prevent fraud, prevent duplicate tickets, ensure payment settlement, ensure message delivery, or make any event successful, profitable, compliant, or safe.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 360 Events shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost profits or event cancellations.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the platform or these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the platform fees you paid to 360 Events in the three months before the claim arose, or (b) R500. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, comply with legal obligations, investigate suspected misuse, prevent harm, manage payment risk, or enforce these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
We may also remove an event, pause payouts, restrict payment processing, suspend access, or request more information if we reasonably suspect fraud, illegal activity, safety risk, fee avoidance, misleading event information, chargeback abuse, or breach of these Terms.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or written agreements referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and 360 Events regarding your use of the platform.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
23. Waiver
If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, unless another law must apply by law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before legal action where reasonably possible.
